Effective July 6, 2026 · Covers the Comfie app and getcomfie.com

Comfie tells you what to wear based on the weather. To do that well it needs a small amount of your data. This page lists all of it, in plain language. The short version: we collect only what the outfit math needs, we never sell it, and you can delete everything.

What the app stores

This data lives in our database hosted by Supabase. Each account can only read and write its own rows. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or show ads.

Your location

Comfie uses your location for one thing: fetching the weather where you are. Coordinates go to Open-Meteo, the weather service, to answer that request. The app can also skip location entirely; you can type a city instead. We do not track where you go and we do not keep a history of your movements.

The AI part

Outfit text in the app is written by Claude, an AI model from Anthropic. Our server sends it the day's weather, your comfort preference, your city name and your activity level, and it writes the recommendation. This happens on our server; your account details and email are not part of that request.

Notifications

Morning and evening outfit notifications are optional. You pick the times, and you can turn them off in Settings or in your phone's notification settings at any time.

Deleting your data

In the app, go to Settings and choose Delete account. That removes your account and every row of your data: profile, comfort answers, outfit history and closet. It is immediate and permanent. If you cannot reach the app, email us and we will delete it for you.

Children

Comfie is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date. Meaningful changes will be called out in the app.
